Disk Cleanup
Free up disk space by removing temporary files and cache.
What is Disk Cleanup?
As you use your computer, browsing the internet, installing new updates, or running various applications, Windows continuously creates temporary files behind the scenes. These files are meant to improve performance or assist in temporary tasks, but they are often left on your drive long after they're no longer needed.
Over time, this digital clutter can accumulate, consuming gigabytes of valuable storage space and potentially impacting your computer's read/write speeds. Disk Cleanup is a built-in utility that securely identifies these unnecessary leftover files, including browser caches, old Windows update logs, and temporary application files, allowing you to reclaim that lost space.
Select items to clean

In the Disk Cleanup tab, optimizerDuck comprehensively groups different categories of junk files that can be safely removed from your system. Instead of navigating complex system folders, you are presented with a straightforward list where each category is clearly defined.
For every item in the list, the interface provides a helpful description so you know exactly what kind of temporary files are being targeted. It also pre-calculates the amount of storage space you will save by clearing that specific category, along with the precise file paths, to give you complete transparency.
To include a category in your cleaning process, simply check the box next to it. You can select multiple items to clean at once.
Cleaning up

Once you have reviewed the list and selected all the categories of temporary files you wish to remove, click the "Clean Selected" button located in the top menu bar.
optimizerDuck will then begin the process of safely deleting these files from your drive. The time it takes will depend on the amount of data being cleared and the speed of your storage drive. Once the cleaning process finishes successfully, the application will display a summary notification letting you know exactly how much disk space has been freed up for your personal use.
