Free up disk space by removing temporary files and cache.
As you use your computer, Windows creates temporary files for performance and caching. These files often remain on your drive long after they're needed.
Over time, this clutter can consume gigabytes of storage. Disk Cleanup identifies these files (browser caches, Windows update logs, temp files) and lets you reclaim that space.
Select items to clean
In the Disk Cleanup tab, optimizerDuck groups junk files into categories that can be safely removed. Instead of navigating complex system folders, you are presented with a straightforward list where each category is clearly defined.
For each item, the interface shows what kind of temporary files are being targeted, how much space you will save, and the exact file paths involved.
Items with no reclaimable space are automatically disabled, so you don't waste time selecting categories that have nothing to clean.
To include a category, check the box next to it. You can select multiple items to clean at once. If you want to recalculate the space usage, use the Refresh quick action button to re-scan the selected categories.

Disk Cleanup completed
Once you have reviewed the list and selected all the categories of temporary files you wish to remove, click the "Clean Selected" button located in the top menu bar.
optimizerDuck will then begin the process of safely deleting these files from your drive. The time it takes will depend on the amount of data being cleared and the speed of your storage drive. Once the cleaning process finishes successfully, the application will display a summary notification letting you know exactly how much disk space has been freed up for your personal use.
